Dr. Waseem Ahmad
MD
Dr. Ahmad graduated from Punjab Medical College Faisalabad, Pakistan. His Internal Medicine Internship was completed at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, New York and his Neurology Residency at Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Here he received the honor of Best Resident and Best Chief Resident by his faculty.
Dr. Ahmad joined Cardiovascular Medicine in October 2023 as a Sleep Specialist and Medical Director of the Sleep Lab. He has been a part of the Quad City community since 2006. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma. He is board certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Ahmad is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He served as Director of Neurosciences at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island, Illinois. He has also served as Medical Director for Genesis Health System Sleep Lab.
In his spare time, Dr. Ahmad manages an orphanage in Pakistan and enjoys traveling.
